The people of New Zealand have a unique opportunity to decide the future of our flag. It’s time to consider the two options, choose which flag represents us and in the final referendum which 3-24 March 2016.
Jill, Ethel and Mr Kiwi were born in New Zealand so they have voted which flag they want to represent New Zealand in the future.
They have all voted to keep the old New Zealand flag! We will know later in March which flag wins.
An update on the result of the voting of the New Zealand flag,
(30 March 2016), is that New Zealand will keep the existing New Zealand flag.
