ANZAC 2016

Serene and Thelma admire the Gallipoli inspired cloak that has been made for the Defence Force. It will be worn by high achieving military personnel. The cloak is called Nga Tapuwae and honours battles where New Zealanders have fought, those who have died and those who have returned home.

2016 marks 100 years since the formation of the Royal New Zealand Returned and Services’ Association (RSA). Since it was founded, the RSA has been an integral part of New Zealand’s communities and New Zealand Post pay tribute to the important role it plays with a special stamp and coin issue.

    1. Thanks. I think Anzac is a time to remember all the men who fought in the wars... even the men who returned home.
